Payroll Administrator / Book Keeper

Our business is growing and we have an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator / Book-keeper within our Business Advisory Services team, based in the Auckland CBD, located right across from Britomart. The primary focus of this role will be working with a variety of clients assisting with their payroll however you will undertake the following book-keeping tasks as well:
- preparing and processing their accounts payable and receivable
- preparing GST and FBT returns,
- managing various monthly reconciliations
- generating monthly reports
The ideal candidate would be vibrant and keen to learn – no previous experience is required though previous payroll experience is an advantage. You would have a keen interest in accounting and systems. Previous exposure to working in a commercial office environment and experience using Xero would be an advantage and ideally you will have good technical excel skills.
You will demonstrate logic and maturity in your thinking, have an exceptional eye for detail, be comfortable working in the digital environment and can liaise with people across all levels of the business.
